  9. Well the pot holes won't help that one.

  10. It pasts around one year from that moment. Can you show to all the people who are afraid because the fix will not last, how your rims look now? You can get a camera set date and time to prove the time and record how are looking you rims after one year. 😊 (sorry 4 poor english, I'm from another continent)

  11. Helpful video! Cheers & Thanks for posting

  12. this is how used car dealers make cash, along with many other tricks. Things is unless done properly it will fail the minute a rock chips it and or you have to scrub the wheels when you wash your car and you scrub the coating off. Then it looks worse than before. Take tire off and tpms and powder coat when done or just buy four new wheels used. I paid 90 bucks for four 18 inch Focus ST wheels off craigslist. Just look around. The dude got new aftermarket wheels for 85 each. Wheels are cheap when stock like that, its all about findind the persons garage space its taking up and paying the guy…bam both people are happy…

What about the tire balance problem?

I'm not saying it didn't look well for the finished product and as a DIY project. Filler on a wheel is a no go. It will not last long as the raw aluminum oxidizes immediately after exposer…you would need to take it down past the damage and tig weld to resurface appropriately. The second part is you don't apply etching primer to paint or filler, it's meant to be used on raw materials. The last part using a scotch bright does not create enough mechanical adhesion for paint which needs both chemical and mechanical adhesion to work appropriately.
